About Matthew Ruggles
After representing management of many of the largest corporations in the world for more than 20 years working at defense law firms, I now use all of my experience, skills and enthusiasm representing individuals (plaintiffs) in employment law (wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination and retaliation) and wage and hour law (improper classification, OTC work, failure to pay overtime, etc.) I have over 20 years of "Big Law" experience doing labor and employment litigation in state and federal courts. Generally speaking, my experience has been as lead counsel in litigation of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage violations in court, as well as collective bargaining issues. I have handled scores of lawsuits in both state and federal courts, with jury trial experience in both venues. Specialties: My particular practice concentrates on complex litigation, including single-plaintiff discrimination/harassment cases, class actions, PAGA claims, and wage & hour lawsuits. I have particular expertise in civil procedure in state and federal courts, and have a significant and exemplary record of winning cases for my clients.
